Flussbad

The New Flow of Hospitality

An intention, a wish, a recourse. Slowness is a collective of people, places and projects that reframe the way we live and interact.

Slowness is not merely about deceleration; it is an intentional act of reconsidering our actions and thinking more deeply about how we wish to live. Slowness encompasses the flagship Flussbad campus in Berlin, including Reethaus, as well as SOFI Bakery, and locations in Portugal and Thailand. Slowness unites designers, farmers, writers, artists, artisans, and architects in a shared mission to reset the values of contemporary wellbeing.

Guided by the principles of the slow movement, adaptive reuse, and regenerative agriculture, Flussbad is a locally rooted space that embodies a more mindful approach to hospitality. In a world awash with fleeting ephemera, it creates space for a continuous journey of reconnection with our surroundings and community.

Here, modernity is enriched by heritage, and clean lines embrace the layered stories of tradition. As Associate Executive Chef, Flora Hohmann transforms each culinary experience into a dialogue between the plate and the planet, modeling a more sustainable future.
